On November 5th 2022, a very special event took place for the second time: TONY CAT LOUNGE. In one of Cologne’s nightlife hotspots, Germany’s best cat accounts were awarded with the GERMAN PETFLUENCER AWARDS 2022. It was a glamourous night dedicated to cats, with more than 250 cat fans celebrating cats on the internet. TV presenter Jana Azizi hosted the event and honoured the award winners in five categories, together withthe expert jury and main sponsor IAMS.

TikTok and Instagram heavyweight @furryfritz won “Petfluencer of the Year”, while Carolin from Stuttgart and her handicapped cats Liah and Luna received the “Purpose Award of the Year”. This new award category is dedicated to cat accounts using their reach and influence for a good cause and for creating meaningful content.
